Couples Photoshoot!!!

After a cancellation due to COLD weather we FINALLY got to participate in the winter couples photoshoot With Chrystal Morrison of Chrystal Clear Photography (London). Not too sure what the other couples got up to, but Justin and I certainly had a great time. Our photo shoot consisted of us getting Stuck in the snow and getting pulled our by a tractor!! We got to see some cows, and it was VERY cold, at -12 which makes me VERY happy we didn't try to do the photos in the -25 degree weather!It also makes me feel bad for the girls who participated in last years winter photo shoot as we asked them to wear sandals and basically no more than a sheet wrapped around them to keep them warm! I dont have any of the pics from the photoshoot to share but I will share a few from last years winter photoshoot. Keep an eye out for more couples and baby days to come.

Book of the Month Club

Even though I cant get enough of "Good night Moon" and "guess how much I love you" I enjoy a good book for me once in a while. Usually I like a a light hearted read but every once in a while its good to work in something a bit more serious Currently I'm reading "The Book Of Negroes" by Lawrence Hill which is fabulous

So for the Month of Feb I am thinking Steve Martins "An Object of Beauty" Feel free to pick it up and weigh in as well! Any suggestions for Marches book of the month ( I can usually read more than a book a month but we will see where we get)

Another quick and east style is the bun , which is classic but has made a come back, it actually has a dual purpose as a wet set for loose waves as well. take mostly dry hair with a some light product (or none whatever you like best) and then twist into either a low bun or a mid bun either air dry or apply the blow dryer and take the hair out and shake loose some great waves. remember to have hair mostly dry when doing this or it will take way too long to dry , ifyou have thick hair i suggest two -three smaller buns.

when in doubt do what all the celebs do, through on a hat, some shades, and a scarf

Quick Hair tips for Moms on the go pt 1

Ok so we are all a slave to our children but we dont have to look like it. Sick of the boring old pony tail? well I'm gonna list a few of my fav quicky styles to help you get out of the house looking a bit more polished and fun!

THE BRAID- this is a fav of mine there are SO many variations to suit all hair/face types and any one can do it!The Messy Side Braid is all the rage right now all you need to do is back comb a little in the crown and down the shaft of the hair this creates extra bulk to your hair so you can get a fuller messier braid. To Switch it up try a fish tail! The tighter the braid the tidier it is, the looser the more full your hair will look!
